PoseLens — Privacy Policy

The short version

PoseLens itself does not collect your personal data. There are no accounts and no sign-up. Everything the app does — showing pose guides, capturing photos, applying overlays — happens on your device. We do not upload, sell, or share your photos or personal information with anyone. The one outside service in the app is Google AdMob, which shows the short ad that unlocks Add Pose — see “Advertising” below.

Data we collect

PoseLens itself collects none: the app has no servers and no analytics of its own, and we cannot see your photos, your pose choices, or how you use the app. The single exception is advertising data handled by Google AdMob, described in the “Advertising” section below.

Camera permission

The camera is used only while you are in the camera screen: to show the live preview, display the pose guide over it, and capture a photo when you tap the shutter (or when the self-timer finishes). Nothing is recorded or sent anywhere.

Photo library and custom poses

If you tap Add Pose, you can pick an image from your device to use as a pose guide. The image is used only for that camera session, as an on-screen overlay. It is not copied into the app, not stored, and never transmitted. Once you leave the camera screen, the app keeps no trace of it.

Advertising

Add Pose is unlocked by watching one short video ad (a “rewarded ad”) each time you use it. Ads are served by Google AdMob, and there are no other ads in the app. When an ad is shown, Google may collect and use your device’s advertising ID and information about your interaction with ads, in line with Google’s own policies, to provide and measure advertising. PoseLens never receives or stores this data, and your photos are never involved. You can read how Google uses data from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Your photos

Photos you capture are saved to your device’s gallery only when you choose to save them, and PoseLens also keeps a copy in the app’s own Clicks gallery on your device so you can view and share them. Sharing a photo is always your action, through your device’s standard share sheet.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of PoseLens ever changes how data is handled, this policy will be updated in the app and on this page before the change takes effect.
